
About the Role
We're looking for a Graphic Design Intern who will focus on supporting high-impact internal projects while working alongside our Chief Creative Officer & Creative Director.
The Graphic Design Intern will gain exposure to various design projects, be able to hone their skills and build a strong foundation for a career in design.
Responsibilities include (but will not be limited to):
• Creating original concepts, layouts and mock-ups for slide presentations, web, mobile and print collateral
• Assist in creating specification documents and brand guidelines for creative output
• Ensure all designs meet clients' business objectives and goals, and meet brand standards
• Work collaboratively with internal team and present designs to client partner(s)
Schedule: 20 hours / week (flexible)
Pay: $15/hour
Dhruva Communications is a remote-first company so all positions are remote and you can work from anywhere within the U.S.

Requirements
Recent graduate with a BA / BFA in Graphic Design (or a related field) or current junior / senior working towards a BA / BFA / MFA in Graphic Design.
An excellent PDF or Web portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills, layout, typography principles and attention to detail
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat), Canva, PowerPoint and Keynote is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PPTX) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate easily with internal teams and communicate / present design concepts and projects to clients.
Organized and attentive to detail. Able to multitask, prioritize and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
