This past weekend, the terrorist group Hamas launched an attack on Israel killing over a thousand people, invading homes and brutalizing families in the most horrific and heinous way.
These terror attacks against civilians in Israel have been extremely painful to watch. They are unconscionable, unjustified and inexcusable. It breaks our hearts to see the senseless and tragic murders of so many innocent people. While we will never have the right words or ability to take away the pain that so many are experiencing right now, we can say that we stand with the Jewish community and everyone who has been hurt, is hurting and especially those who have lost loved ones to this inhumane violence.
We mourn the loss of innocent lives and pray for the families of these souls, those who are missing, those who have been held hostage, and those who are fighting to return home safely and peacefully.
